Malm - Free typeface

An everyday sans born from the everyday commute.

Malm is a humanist sans serif that combines the typographical styles found throughout Metro Manila into one singular family. Taking cues from type that is functional, and legible gives us a utilitarian feel that can be felt in narrower widths. Adding in the Filipino spirit which is fun, light-hearted, and warm, translates to softer curves and rounder forms adding a friendlier touch to Malm.

Traversing throughout the metro, I've noticed that not all signages use the same typeface. Some are using what seems to be Highway

Since this type is born from the everyday commute, I figured it should be within reach of everyday people. A gesture to give back to my fellow commuters.
